Fundraisers
Naples Islands Garden Club raises funds through the community events listed below. These activities support the club’s efforts to promote gardening and beautify the neighborhood. If you would like to donate, please email info@naplesislandsgardenclub.com to see how you can support NIGC.

Book Clubs
The Book Clubs meet providing some opportunities: to read something one would not usually choose, and to make new friendships and raise funds for the Club! Choose between an afternoon or evening gathering that is followed by refreshments, fellowship, and learning experiences.
Bunco
Members gather monthly on the second Monday for Bunco, a fun evening of dice-rolling, eating, and lighthearted socializing at a designated hostess’s home. No experience is needed—just a $5 entry fee, which funds future beautification projects. It’s a perfect excuse for games, snacks, prizes, and drinks!

Christmas Luncheon
The Christmas Luncheon transforms generosity into jubilation as members contribute gifts to the "Spark of Love Toy Drive." Long Beach firefighters arrive with a gleaming fire truck to whisk away the bounty of toys and gift cards from the exquisitely adorned Virginia Country Club. The toys are then delivered to deserving families in our community on Christmas day. A most joyous celebration during the holiday season!
Dine-Out
A few times annually, local restaurateurs elevate dining into philanthropy, donating 15% of sales to the Garden Club. Amid refined ambiance and delectable cuisine, members and friends gather for an evening of effortless giving. A savory win for all involved!

Fall Fundraiser
The November Holiday Fundraiser, a long-standing tradition at Romance, Etc., is a festive annual event featuring shopping, socializing, and member-provided refreshments and wine. Proceeds from ticket sales, raffles, and 15% of the day’s sales—generously donated by the store owners—support the Community Beautification Fund.
Flower Show Luncheon
One of our most enjoyed social events is the Annual Flower Show where members have the opportunity to display their creations in many categories to be judged by professional judges. Flower arrangements, dish gardens, place settings and specimen pieces are entered for pleasure and awards. It is held annually at the Long Beach Yacht Club in spring. A silent auction with items donated by local merchants is organized as a fundraiser in conjunction with the Flower Show. It is always a delightful, happy occasion with a different theme every year.

Plant Boutique
The annual Plant Boutique originated as a modest table at the Naples Flea Market, offering potted plants and cuttings donated by members for sale. Inspired to elevate the experience, organizers transformed it into a refined "Rogers Gardens"-style event, where the community can now purchase elegant cut-flower bouquets, terrariums, dish gardens, potted plants, and gardening essentials. Visitors enjoy this neighborhood event alongside the Naples Pancake Breakfast, sharing a delightful morning with family and neighbors. Generous contributions from Kellogg Garden Supplies and H&H Nursery, combined with the enthusiastic support of club members, ensure the event’s success, generating significant proceeds to fund ongoing NIGC projects that maintain the area’s enduring beauty.
