Holiday Luncheon & Spark of Love Toy Drive

What a wonderful way to kick start the holiday season! Virginia County Club sparkled with festive trimmings and spectacular Christmas tree while a solo pianist greeted arriving guests with a rendition of carols. Reservations tipped a record 127 members and guests and the tables over flowed with a magnificent array of their donated gifts for the “Spark of Love” toy drive. It is always a pleasure to have special guests, Will Nash, Program Coordinator for the toy drive and Shirley Wild, Social Editor for the Press Telegram. Listed among the highlights was the arrival of the volunteer Fire Fighters from Station #11, who graciously come to collect the gifts for families in the community in most need at this time of the year. It gives our luncheon a special denotation. Thank you all for making it so meaningful!
