Christmas Luncheon - 2024

The Naples Islands Garden Club held their annual Spark of Love Christmas Luncheon, December 18th, at the beautifully decorated Virginia Country Club.  Under the direction of co-chairs Arleen Tolle, Beverly Butters Lane and their wonderful committee of seventeen, the room and tables sparkled in silver, ice blue and white.  One hundred and seventeen attendees loaded tables with toys and gift cards for the Long Beach Fire Department to deliver to underserved Long Beach children.

NIGC President, Linda Frame, welcomed Fire Chief Dennis Buchanan as well as Spark of Love coordinator, Will Nash.  Other special guests included Shirley Wild, Press Telegram columnist, and Mary Zarafa Loos, owner/publisher of the Alamitos Bay magazine.

In addition to welcoming the volunteer firemen as they load the toys on to the fire truck, guests were treated to a “Flash Mob” of spirited NIGC members singing “Winter Wonderland”.
