January 2024 General Club Meeting

NIGC began 2024 by welcoming The Third District Council Member for Long Beach, Kristina Duggan at the General Meeting on January 8th.  Her presentation was informative, giving members a sense of the current state of our City as well as the direction that it will be taking for many issues. Council member Duggan touched on many issues such as the homeless, public safety, the environment, the Alamitos Bay Circulation Project, Los Cerritos Wetlands, and small businesses.  NIGC is fortunate to have a council member representing our district who is not only receptive to our concerns but wants to work with our community members to address issues.  We thank her for stepping up to the many challenges that face her on a daily basis.
