January Program

For the January meeting we had a very informative presentation on Long Beach Organic by Brianna Beyrooty, Garden Director. Long Beach Organic is a nonprofit organization that operates eight organic community gardens in Long Beach. The organization locates urban vacant lots from public and private owners and turns them into beautiful community gardens for local and sustainable food production. Volunteers are always welcome and the organization holds fundraisers throughout the year.
