Roaming at the Rancho Los Alamitos

On May 8th, 2023 NIGC enjoyed a spring afternoon at the Rancho Los Alamitos for their last general meeting of the year. Members were encouraged to bring their lunches as we sat in the inner courtyard of the original adobe home. During our short meeting, President Deborah Smith welcomed our newest members, Sherry Yanagisawa and Paula Piercy to our Club while Sandy Davidson held a silent auction of three beautiful potted plans to raise money for the Plant Boutique. After our meeting, members were broken up into small groups led by Rancho docents to tour the original Rancho and its’ lovely surrounding gardens. It was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon and to learn more about Long Beach history.
