Second Street Planters Makeover

On Monday, October 18th the 2nd Street Planter Committee met on an overcast morning to focus on the two often ignored planters between Sienna and Venetia. Thanks to Deborah S., Linda F., and Co-Chair Cathy Ridder for ripping out old plants, adding new dirt, planting new succulents, and giving them a good drink of water.

The empty building on this block has now been leased by an electric bicycle shop and Monica, who works with the new business loves gardening so our planters will have extra care. Lynn Allen also was welcomed as the new planters’ caretaker.
